Applied Materials Mechanical Engineer III - (E3) in Alzenau, Germany
Designs and analyzes mechanical systems, equipment and packaging.
Conducts feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
Directs support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, testing, prototype fabrication and performance validation.
The primary focus of the position is to perform and document engineering tests, coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components/equipment, and generate documentation.
Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
